g-Bird Mobile

g-Bird is the mobile interface to www.g-bird.org, an online application used to record bird sightings and view them in 3-D.

Record your sightings’ location
g-Bird Mobile records any species in any country in a matter of seconds, noting the:
* Location (GPS co-ordinates)
* Date/time
* Behavior
* Sex
* Comments
* Flock size.

Sightings that are detected to lie outside the normal distribution range of a species is displayed in red in the sighting list, and is marked with a red marker when viewed on a map.

View on a map
* Any sighting can be viewed on a map on your phone.
* The species’ distribution range is overlaid on the map.
* View individual sightings on the map or a complete trip list at once.
